Extra Context Part of Project
The Coolsingel is redesigned to become the city’s main promenade. Beersnielsen designed the light plan of what is known as the most important street of Rotterdam. The architects of West8 designed iconic light objects that serve as public lighting and landscape markers. Apart from the light plan, the technical features for these elements were designed for West8.
The formulated requirements make sure that the object have the correct light output and can be maintained by the city. It is also part of the tender for the selection of manufacturer/supplier for the objects.
