A classic and elegant atmosphere
Extra Context Part of Project
As part of the newly renovated Rijksmuseum, the restaurant that belongs to the building was redesigned too. Beersnielsen designed the light plan for the complete restaurant. The architect proposed a wall fixture that fits the design language of the classic 50’s design lamps that were planned in the restaurant.
Beersnielsen elaborated on the design and technical aspects of the wall fixture, so that both the materialization and emitting light would fit the complete concept.
The architect was explicit about the appearance of the fixture. A prototype was used to show the resulting light effect.
